11. Symposium Health Care of the Future 2026
Seit 2006 bietet das Symposium Health Care of the Future eine Plattform für den Austausch über Entwicklungen im Gesundheitswesen und deren Einfluss auf Architektur und Planung. Die 11. Ausgabe widmet sich dem Thema ExSTRUCTURA. Smart Care, Human Values - dem Auflösen, Neuordnen und Weiterdenken von Gesundheitsarchitektur in einer Zeit tiefgreifender technologischer und gesellschaftlicher Veränderungen.
Im Fokus stehen die Auswirkungen von KI auf Krankenhausbetrieb und Gestaltung, neue vernetzte Versorgungsmodelle, "Hospitals without Walls" sowie innovative Partnerschaften für zukunftsfähige Kinderkrankenhäuser. Internationale Expertinnen und Experten aus Architektur, Medizin, Planung, Politik und Gesundheitswissenschaften geben Impulse für Gesundheitsräume, die flexibel, nachhaltig und nutzerorientiert bleiben.
Die Veranstaltung wird als Fortbildung bei den deutschen Architektenkammern anerkannt.

Health Care of the Future 2026
Since 2006, the Health Care of the Future Symposium has provided a platform for exchanging ideas on developments in healthcare and their impact on architecture and planning. The 11th edition is dedicated to the subject of ExSTRUCTURA. Smart Care, Human Values – exploring, rethinking, and reshaping healthcare architecture in a time of profound technological and societal change.
The focus is on the effects of AI on hospital operations and design, new interconnected care models, “Hospitals without Walls,” and innovative partnerships for future-ready children’s hospitals. International experts from architecture, medicine, planning, politics, and health sciences will share insights to create healthcare spaces that remain flexible, sustainable, and user-centric.
The event is recognized as continuing education by the German Chambers of Architects.
